25/07/2008 - Text 65100 to bid for a signed Forest

Here's your chance to win a signed Forest shirt - for just a few pence!

Usually the highest bidder wins an auction, but the Nottingham Evening Post has teamed up with Nottingham Forest for a fantastic reverse auction where readers can get great prizes for pennies.

That's because in this auction, it's not how high you bid, its how low.

If yours is the lowest unique bid by the end of the auction, you win. All it costs you is the cost of the text - in this case it's £1 plus your standard network rate - with all the profits going to Maggies. The winner will also have to pay the cost of the winning bid.

If yours is the lowest unique bid, we'll let you know. And if it's not, we'll also let you know.

We'll have different lots up for auction every week. This week it's the Forest shirt - but we will have different goodies up for grabs every week.

Grab your mobile and text EP BID to 65100 plus your bid in pounds or pence. So if you text EP BID 5 you will have bid £5. If you text EP BID 0.50 you will have bid 50p.
