Morgan wants to build on draw
But the Reds defender wants a return to winning ways at Middlesbrough in just under two weeks.
Morgan (pictured) scored in the 85th minute on Saturday against Bristol City to put the Reds ahead.
But Danny Haynes equalised in injury time to earn the visitors a 1-1 draw.
It was a third successive stalemate for Forest after five straight wins.
But, despite an unbeaten eight-game run, Morgan wants to raise the bar.
He said: "If you get a draw you take confidence. We beat Newcastle and have had some good results, but we have to bounce back with three points sooner rather than later and the best place is Middlesbrough.
"As a team we have defended quite well and in last eight games we have not had much on our own goal. We have got confidence from that and as a team we want to build on that.
"We dominated the game possession-wise and were unlucky not to score. Our pressure told in the second half and we scored but it did not prove to be the winner. They got the equaliser and we were disappointed not to get the three points.
"We are working well together, improving all the time and it is a welcome (international) break. But we want to bounce back against Middlesbrough and get three points.
"The likes of Newcastle and Cardiff are going to be up there at the end of the season and we have got good results against them, so that should keep us in good stead for rest of the season.
"It is a different pressure (to being in the bottom three) and each game we need to win it so that is pressure.
"But if teams around us win and we don't we will fall down the league so we need to keep it going."
Morgan struck his first goal of the season in the 85th minute and did not hold back with his celebrations. But he admitted even he thought it was enough to win the game.
"I thought it must be the winner but they equalised. But we did well to get a point and we must carry on this undefeated run," he said.
"I cannot really remember it . It was a bit of a blur and the excitement came over me.
"My emotions took over and the lads jumped on me so I cannot remember much."
